Sad day for the world of literature: Maurice Sendak has passed away at age 83. Hilariously irreverent until the end, Sendak’s last public appearance was on The Colbert Report, where he gave advice to Colbert on his new children’s book:

Good on this mom for taking matters into her own hands when her son’s school failed to properly address the serious bullying problem her son was facing. Usually stories like this happen in the opposite direction- schools trying to compensate for a lack of parenting.
Bullshit on this one, EA. I can maybe see if at one point you were planning on shutting down your game, changed your mind, and some department just didn’t get the memo in time. But that’s NOT THE SAME THING as what you’re claiming. Considering how much flak you’ve been taking lately, and how much of it has been deserved, you would do well to just come clean and show some transparency on this one.
